Junior Olympic Age Qualifications - A player’s age as of December 31 determines the age in which the player is eligible to play the following year.

Players of younger age classification may play in older age classifications, but an older age classification player may not play in the younger age classification.

Once a player participates in an intercollegiate softball program for a university, college, or junior/community college, the player is ineligible to play below the Class A level.

8-Under Age Classification - A player born after December 31, 2013 is ELIGIBLE.         
10-Under Age Classification - A player born after December 31, 2011 is ELIGIBLE.
12-Under Age Classification - A player born after December 31, 2009 is ELIGIBLE.
14-Under Age Classification - A player born after December 31, 2007 is ELIGIBLE.
16-Under Age Classification - A player born after December 31, 2005 is ELIGIBLE.
18-Under Age Classification - A player born after December 31, 2003 is ELIGIBLE (Includes Junior Olympic GOLD).
