Teams wanting to play district or state will need to have their team individually registered.  The cost is the same as 2017.  Teams may now register online using the individually RegisterUSA online program.  With this registration each player has a accident policy.  Cost $20 per player with a $250 deductible and $30 per player with a $125 deductible.  Teams do not need to purchase insurance.

Teams not playing district or state can register the team using the team registration form under the Youth tab.  There is no insurance and teams cannot play districts or state.  The cost is $27.00 for 2018.

Teams may now register for 2018.  Starting September 1 2018 teams will be able to register for 2019.  Currently registrations run from January 1 through December 31.  2019 registrations will run from September 1 2018 through August 31, 2019.  What this means is once the Fall season starts teams that reform can register their team for 2019.  This way they can play qualifying play and fall tournaments.

8 -Under Only - The 8U state tournament will go back to the 3 game guarantee bracket.  Last year it was pool play followed by a single elimination tournament.  The board decided to go back to the 3 game guarantee bracket.

State Trophy - The tournament will furnish 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team awards if 8 or more teams are in the tournament or 1st and 2nd place team awards if 7 or less teams are in the tournament.

State tournament game times can start as early as 9:00 am on Friday.  This will allow flexibility of playing all games at the complex which numbers dictate.  This will only happen if needed.

Flip Flop Rule (8u, 10U C & D) - When visitors are ahead by 6 or more runs with less than 10 minutes to play we will clear the bases and the home team will continue to bat in a new inning for 3 outs or 5 runs whichever is first, flip-flop is mandatory.

Batter Rule (8-under only) - Each batter will be allowed five pitches to bat the ball in play.  A batted foul ball on the fifth, sixth or seventh pitch will get another pitch to the batter.  Each batter will be allowed a total of eight pitches to bat the ball in play.  Each batter that fails to bat the ball in play will be counted as an out, and the next batter in the batting order will take her place at bat.
